Clematis Unfurls

Theres something about the first bloom after winter - the forming of the bud bursting forth into the an array of colour or to a simple style of beauty. My clematis is starting to unfurl its tiny petals, a soft delicate pink and simple in form.

Its Hubby's birthday today - hes not one for celebration but Daughter E and I tried to make it a little special. We will have more of a celebration when Daughter A comes home from uni - its not the same without her here.

Early evening here with mild temps and no wind - I like that after yesterday, perhaps spring is making a comeback.
