Ducky Diabolick

A very enjoyable day spent in Ivonne's nearly finished house in Ixtapan in Mexico State. The circa 2 hour trip there made much more enjoyable by being reunited w/the Puglys who slept most of the way there on mine and Sandra's laps.

Her's is a truly beautiful house, situated in some gorgeous, mountain scenery and v much away from it all. A jacuzzi and swimming pool all add to the feeling of getting away too. Next time we will definitely be bringing togs, Sandra had to settle for pool-side foot-paddling this time around.

As always, the Arriaga clan were their usual hospitable selves. I really have been made to feel completely at home here in Mexico. I am so v grateful.

The journey home was a slow, dull trawl through rain and accident-backed-up traffic. Not made any quicker, by being stuck w/endless Pink Floyd on the stereo, which for some reason couldn't find any radio channels once we left Mexico City.
