Originally planned to go to a talk/reception on in the Anthropology Museum, however, upon further checking, we hadn't been sent invites to attend, but rather, invites to purchase a ticket for the event!

Instead of spending our money on that, Sandra and I decided to head out for a meal to a little place she's been dying to get to for a while.

And just as well.

A spot in Roma set-up by the well-known (in Mexico at any rate!) chef, Monica Patino. A deli-restaurant in the style of Pekhams, only much nicer.

You're looking at the remnants of a delicious, beef Empenada drenched in the table-side condiment of 5 (Arbol, Piquin, Puya, Guajillo & Morita) Chilli Salsa. It was so good, spicy and flavoursome, that I couldn't leave w/out getting some to bring home.
