So much art!

Today was an open house at the museum of fine arts in Boston. I've wanted to go for ages but could never justify the $30 ticket price, so with mum in town seemed like the perfect opportunity to pay a visit today.

Loved it! Fell in move with the Contemporary Arts wing, saw some ballet, some Monet; Picasso; Miró; Matisse; Degas; Pollock and a tonne of other amazing stuff. Definitely heading back the next time it's free. Only planned on being there a couple of hours but we ended up staying almost all day. Very nice day of cultural wanderings.

So I was spoiled for choice, but today's blip is a super close up of a van Gogh. That may be as close as I ever get to a van Gogh so had to take a close up pic.

Now to figure out how to fill the last couple of days with mum. Feel like I'm running out of things to do ;)
