Whilst donating platelets I'm used to the machine beeping at me for low pressure. I know I'm meant to keep squeezing the ball I'm given, but I get distracted by the TV & forget. The machine beeped at me today, three times for draw pressure but then it also beeped for return pressure.

I'd fidgeted in the chair & moved the needle slightly meaning that the blood couldn't return to me. The nurse had to stop the donation & I now get to wait for the bruise to develop.
