St Mary's Church, Wreay
We had school contracts this afternoon, and had 10 minutes at Wreay which we put to good use with cameras.
I wanted to take a picture of the angel statue which is hidden in a crypt-like building, so I could tell my son that I have met a weeping angel and got a photograph - but I could not get it.
I did however, fall over and bruise my pride and my leg and am still suffering. I did try running, but it was sore so I figured I should stop or I might really hurt myself.
Anyhoo - St Mary's Church is a little church in Wreay which was commissioned by a Sara Losh and is filled with symbolism and natural carvings of all manner of beasts. It is very pretty and I would recommend a visit if you were passing by.
Oh, this is the pipes of the church organ.
