The Keys

Thursday I had unexpected work done on my car and when the mechanics were changing the cabin filters, the glove box fell open and all of the contents fell onto the floor.

They took care of it before I left, but when I got into the car, I noticed a set of keys in my cup holder that I didn't immediately recognize so I turned them in to the office. Turned out, they were the spare set of keys I keep of my mom's house and car in my glove box, which I hadn't bothered to check.

I hadn't gotten back to the garage on Friday, so I was off today to pick them up. I thought this was kind of a neat shot because the cars were at all different levels.

I got the keys and was off on my way.

I have a cactus that keeled over from too much water at the base from the monsoons this summer. It was the one that gave us this lovely bloom, the flowering torch cactus.

I'm going to dry it out and replant it in a place less likely to get so much water runoff. It has two babies attached and two in the ground. I'll leave those there and see how they grow. Cacti are pretty hardy, so hopefully, I can resuscitate this pretty one.
