Monkey Bread
This loaf was baked by a friend of mine from a recipe that they found in the Radio Times of all places. The idea is that you make plain bread dough and leave it to rise a bit. Then you make around 60 little balls, the size of large cherries, and roll them in melted butter. You then roll the balls in either a sweet or savoury substance, stick them all together in the bread tin and leave it to rise again before baking. This is cheese monkey bread and it was served with a low-calorie soup to counteract all the cheesy lardy deliciousness. Om nom nom nom nom!
