Oh I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside

I was in Whitby for a long weekend with some chums from school and we had absolutely glorious weather on the Saturday. It was hotter than I think it has been in Edinburgh the whole summer! Whitby was absolutely heaving with people making the most of the weather but that didn't detract too much from what a pleasant place it is.

This is the view from the top of the cliffs next to the Abbey, where I believe Mina Harker used to walk and meet with some of the old men of Whitby. A couple of friends and I had a picnic lunch up there and then went out separate ways. I spent a very pleasant hour or so flying my kite in the sunshine. Bliss :o)
