Good Fortune

They had the good fortune of being born wild in the back yard of a Contraptioneer who specializes in Redneck Cat toys. Each born to a different mother, these three kittens take shelter from the rain (although it doesn't look rainy in this photo, does it!) in the newest structure created for their comfort.

The yellow one is the only sibling left from the litter that included Milo and Boston Blackie. The same day they disappeared, their mother and the mother of the white one in front disappeared. We never figured out where they went off to, but the mother of the little gray one adopted them all, plus another 2 that are around somewhere. We are making much better progress with this generation and should have them all tamed before long (speaks with confidence and hopes it's true!).
