Pumpkin picking

Another sparkling day. The clouds will return. Long Island is a great respite from the midtown and downtown high-rises. Lots of driving through greenery today, vast sod farms, barns, pumpkin fields, Elmo, the cookie monster, pig racing. Weeks before Halloween, everyone was out. A much awaited dinner and apple pie. Then more apple pie. All the good things before Monday.
