Beach life

Last night involved an epic sleep. Over 10 hours, very much needed. Woke up to the smell of the bread maker doing its thing.

The morning was a nice walk to Sandeels Bay, beautiful but not somewhere we go often. I think that the main difference between this trip and our usual summer holiday will be that we don't hang around once we get somewhere, we just enjoy the walk then turn around. In the afternoon I baked scones to eat with cream and jam, and now we're sat by the fire drinking cava and playing scrabble before watching a movie. I'm annoyed because I've managed two 6 letter words but he's winning after putting 'zoo' on a double word score....
