Speugs' bath time

A pair of speugs* in a dub** in Troon today.

Speugs are declining in numbers apparently so it was quite nice to see some bobbing about down by the shore in Troon today. I managed to stand very still and snap Mr and Mrs Speug enjoying a quick bath.

for those who don't know:
*speug= Scots for sparrow
** dub = Scots for puddle.
