today was the Leicester marathon, went to watch as usual, Chris had some friends running for various charities.
Took up my usual place near Costa but heard the Samba band belting out at the other end of High St. so walked up there. They are as much a part of the race now as the runners, drumming away to give them a lift as they go for the last 2 miles. That beat is really infectious. It certainly brought smiles to a few weary faces..
