Gloomy Sunday
We've had a few gloomy days in a row now. Not typical of Canterbury (the region and the person) at all. I now want winter to arrive. The beautiful autumn is done and now we're in limbo, waiting for the snow.
We got up late this morning and I made pancakes for breakfast. Then we headed out for coffee with a couple of mates. Odd that I should say 'coffee' since none of us actually drank coffee today.
Then we took Cousteau for a long walk in the forest, incorporating a wee dip for him. It made me cold just looking at him. He's developped an annoying habit of barking at other dogs and being dominant. He's such a lovely dog at home and with people but seems to get too big for his boots with other dogs. We are trying to correct the behaviour that we believe has been brought on by him being attacked several times. We're kind of clueless though so lots of reading and watching of the Dog Whisperer is on the cards, methinks.
We've got lasagne and Canterbury's Ciabatta for tea tonight. Food seems to be a big part of our lives right now.
