Johannes' trick!
I dedicate some time during Saturdays for fixing a few things in the house.
This time (yesterday) was the turn of one armchair. Two pieces of wood had to be glued and the problem was how to hold them tightly for so many hours until the glue will do its job.
I copied the idea from Johannes who fixed our other armchair a few years ago. It is so simple but I would have never thought about it.
A couple of meters of string and a kind of a small stick are only needed for keeping the two pieces very tight together.
At first the string have to be passed from the one arm of the chair to the other one and then to roll it around itself by using the stick. I used a wooden spoon as a stick.
I look forward to loosen the string and see what will happen.
