On My Doorstep...

Today I went for a Sunday stroll through the nearby woods. I wandered through fields and slid about on the wet mud on the well worn paths that have evolved from many a walking boot.

I passed streams and trees aplenty as you would imagine. My surprise find (of the year I think) is this amphitheatre which is less than a mile from my home. Why did I not know about this? How old is it? Why was it built? All questions I want to find answers too.

I will go back to my secret find, a place that no one else knows about. Or at least, that's what I'm going to keep believing.
