Passing Through

Some Redwings stay all year but most pass through Shetland on their way south. There can be huge numbers recorded - in October 1979 65,000 arrived in Fair Isle and I have seen large flocks in the hills in the past. This chap however was one of three that settled in the garden this morning for a feeding stop.
