a good night's sleep

Imagine... bed time calls... You climb into a miniature sized double bed, lay your head on a family sized pack of crunchy noisy doritos (disguised as a pillow) covered in an off white pillowcase labelled repeatedly with 'property of new south wales health', lying on a sheet stamped repeatedly with 'new south Wales health' and pull over you what, quite frankly is an oversized white dishcloth labelled (yes, you guessed) property of new south Wales health. The offending item displayed in today's blip. And all of this comfort, while drifting off to the noise of the chopper landing on the hospital helipad.

So, as fascinating as this will be for you - but ridiculously pleasing for me - today we invested in our own bedlinen. Yeeeeeeha! I don't know why we didn't do this last week; just one of those things. Can't wait to have our own place to out this into, but for now, a little step towards temporary hospital accommodation feeling more like home. Now to deal with the emergency chopper...
