Bowling Night with KSA

Bowling night with the Korean Students Association! I can't remember when the last time I went bowling was, but because of my foot injury, I chose to watch rather than play.

One fact I learned in my psych class was that rather than a pure reflection of emotion, sometimes facial expressions are used as a social tool to express to others how you're feeling. A study was done that found that people who bowl will see how many pins are knocked down, turn around, and then display the emotion on their face; rather than showing the emotion immediately, the main purpose was to broadcast to others what your reaction is. In some instances, this may be true, but I found it entertaining to see the contrast in behavior between those who clearly knew what they were doing and those were there for the social aspect.

I remember the first time I went bowling, I started my game off with three strikes and ended up with a score of over 120. Thankfully, I had nothing to prove this time and could benefit from other people's embarrassment instead.
