Farm Pond

We took advantage of the glorious weather promised for this weekend and went on a bike ride. Took the 'default' route - around the back lanes of Sherbourne, a little detour to the Charles River and a visit to Farm Pond. Farm Pond is a gem - only the locals are allowed to park their cars here (no problem with bikes) so it's pretty empty and unspoiled. Quite a few swimmers today, even though there were no lifeguards on duty. 14.7 miles, with plenty of hills.

Doesn't look like we are going to get much in the way of fall colors this year - everything is still rather green, but appears to be fading to brown.
