The Green Man

I've been to Birmingham today with my fellow Get Walking Keep Walking volunteers from all the cities involved. It was a celebration of achievements. The figures are impressive; the project finishes in December when the lottery funding runs out, but already, all the targets have been exceeded. Put simply, it has benefited a great many people whose mental and physical well-being has been improved by the simple mechanism of walking in company in their local environment. As you might imagine, one of the activities of the day was a walk around the area. This sculpture caught my eye in what was obviously and "alternative" area.
