opening of the fondue season

it was decided, by Mr. Spitzimixi, that fondue season has begun. Which meant I had to rush to the shop before it closed to get all the things one needs for fondue...like cheese...

It was very cold today and we spent most of the day in the house. This morning we had a nice visitor - someone who we haven't seen for years played taxi for Flea between her Uncle's house and here so he stopped off for a coffee and a chat. And then it was time for me to rush off to get my hair cut. The Blings wanted me to have long hair again but I really hated it so had it chopped short again today and it feels so much better! The hairdresser who cut it was new and she cut it with a knife, which I really love, so I'll be asking for her to do it next time too.

Tomorrow the weather should be better again and we'll be back to picking apples....
And, an update on yesterday...I have some bruising round my eyes and a cracking headache which feels a little bit like someone smacked me in the face with an apple....!
