Caught up in the morning
At one point I had to put my hands over my ears. The woman next to me had got so caught up in the events of the game, she was screeching like a seagull. I also felt badly for the ref, a local guy. It must be so hard to do your job in the middle of the field with 14 little boys crowding into the goal and angry sounding parents on the terraces, especially when they include your name in the insults they hurl at you.
Anyway, an eventful and controversial game, but despite being bundled over the goal line with an elbow in the stomach, Ben saved plenty and they won 4-2, so yar boo sucks to them.
The morning was wild, with rain all night and a bit of a hoolie blowing, but by the time we got down to the market, the sun had come out to confuse us.
Just me and little Agu for the evening now, as Ben has gone off again to Pau's house. I know he's doing what he wants to do, but a bit of me is jealous he doesn't want to be with his boring old mum. Apparently some rat sleighing in the mountains is preferable.
Hmm. I can see his point.
