Cutting It

We haven't done much to the garden since moving house last October. However when the jokes about having a wildlife garden started and some tufts of grass came almost up to my knee, we knew it was only a matter of time before we had to cut the grass.

I finished off a couple of bits in the new room and Mrs42 trotted off to Homebase, like a good Brit on a bank holiday weekend, and purchased one of their finest lawnmowers ... and a hedge trimmer ... oh, and a garden vacuum!?

So as I type this, Mrs42 is finishing off her first ever grass cutting experience and she's making a good job of it too.

So this blip is a dedication to all of the poor daisies from our front lawn that have now been mercilessly decapitated. There are no more daisies. The daisies are pushing up the daisies, if you'll pardon the pun :-)
