Pears

Preparing some traditional dish for dinner. Sauerkraut stew with sausage, it's the season for it.

The pears are for the dessert. They are cooked red in sweet Spanish wine. After that pears out and boil down the liquid to a tasteful 'sauce'. Softly warm the pears in the sauce.

Serving: warm pear on a plate with three small scoops of ice cream an pour some sauce over it.

While it is rather traditional I did a little after processing on this photo. I used a so called grunge filter to give it an old fashioned look ... ;)
