Impulse purchase, but a bargain!

Had an early start to drive up to my friend's and then we caught the bus to Newcastle. We went to pick up the wigs we are hiring for the play, what a great job the stylists have done, we're thrilled with them. It all turned out to be a thoroughly enjoyable day, after lunch we 'hit' the shops, M&S and a few charity shops. I saw these shoes, my size, fell in love with them, had a moment of sanity and put them back. Then, what the heck, at £2.99 I couldn't resist. They might just 'come in' one of these days.
I stayed for tea at my friend's house as it is not reasonable to drive home and back up for a rehearsal. Don't usually rehearse Friday but this was a technical and virtually the last apart from the dress on Sunday. It was late when I got home but the shoes just seemed to sum up the fun of the day. You can just see my mug of cocoa in the picture, it topped off the day nicely.
