Red Rose ................

I have never grown roses in my garden, not for any particular reason . However , I have bought bunches of them several times over recent weeks, and their beauty never fails to amaze me . I usually buy a couple of bunches in contrasting colours to add a splash of colour. Today's selection was a white bunch, and the other bunch was a striking mixture of orange and red. They are all so pretty , it was hard to decide what to picture .
We are off to watch the rugby final at Old Trafford later tonight. St Helens v Leeds , Lancashire v Yorkshire , a red rose v a white rose . So , in honour of who we will be supporting, a red rose is today's picture.
