Penong Windmills

A strange little town, it's on the Eyre Hwy, the only Bitumen road between east and west in the bottom half of Australia.

There are 26 Windmills off the side of the highway that are used to supply water to the town, some of them look like they've seen better days.

I stopped here to see a customer, he is my most distant customer, over 1,700km from home. I still have more customers to see but at least now I'm heading towards home!
