Big Waves

We had big waves down on the beach today. Big kids and little kids were all having fun. After I'd spent about half an hour taking pictures, I knew I had to get in the water. So I went home, changed, and forced Mr. Lightwave into his swimming trunks insisting that he would thank me later. (He did.)

The water was freezing - what a contrast with the tropical storm last week - but the waves were magnificent (for us on our shallow east coast bay). I was even knocked off my feet a couple of times.

Later, I went to the marsh with thoughts of some nature photography. Alas, the mosquitoes are horrendous - I don't think I will be back until we've had a frost.
