A Walk On The Wildside

Went for a walk round the local reservoir. Listened to bell birds but could not get a shot of them though I did see some. Smell of wood smoke where they had been carrying out controlled burns. Dan stopped suddenly and indicated to be quiet. he had see this goanna run across the path in front of him then up the tree. His markings were beautiful. he stayed still so we were able to get some shots of him. Here is what was on the little rubbish bin when I got out of the shower knowing my feelings about spiders you can imagine my reaction. However with blipping in mind I did get the courage to take a picture before putting it outside.
