Nothing compares

Wonderful mum to her children. Wonderful second mum to my boy.
Always there, always willing to help. Would do anything for us.
We love her to bits.
She'll kill me for posting this though :-)

I have had a lovely day today, with some funny moments with students and some really honest conversations with individuals who are actually taking some pride in doing the right thing. The best bit of my day was being able to congratulate two students who have been very very hard work in the past (and I am sure will have their moments in the future). They have responded positively to mentoring and one of them said today "Miss, I have turned into a swot, and do you know what, I'm LOVING IT!" She is buzzing off the praise - fingers crossed that it's not too late :-)

In pain again tonight. However, I am heartened by the fact that my scan date has come through already which is impressive - arrived yesterday, 4 working days after my initial visit to the doctor. Scan on 31st October ...fingers crossed for answers.
