Postcard...

We've been doing 'A Child's Journey' at Morgan's school, which today involved making our own postcard and then going, along with some of the other mums, his classmates and teacher on the bus to the local post office. A mini school trip. Morgan drew a picture of his dad on his postcard, complete with fingers and a belly button! Then he wrote his name all by himself. We took the bus with him gripping it all the way - as you can see. He asked for the stamp and paid by himself, he was very proud and excited. After posting the postcard his teacher went to the bakery to buy them all a treat for later, then we all visited the library.

His postcard came in the post the next day, he was very excited about it. :-)
