Thank you for your letter dated 4 October. Your commitment to responsible lending is commendable, if a little tardy. However, you will need to explain the logic that leads from your stated commitment to your decision to close my credit card account because I don't use the card or owe any money on it. Hasn't our Prime Minister just said that the most responsible form of indebtedness is none at all?
