SUNNY IN KILBARCHAN

The Steeple is not part of a church, but a memorial to our local piper, Habbie Simpson. On Lilias Day, he comes to life and climbs down from the steeple to pipe at the head of the procession. It's true, I have seen it with my own eyes. All of which says something about the nature of belief, but I am not sure what.
