Small White Church

I was on Mercer Island, the home of mansions and beyond in Seattle, but at the same time there are many modest smallish and old homes. In fact the little house my parents bought in 1946 when I was a baby is still standing and looks much the same.

I was on the Island delivering 3 small paintings and noticed this New England like Methodist church. The simplicity of the classic design that is so rare in our city drew my eye and camera today.
