Wise eyes

We had a wonderful day at the San Diego Zoo on Wednesday.

We managed to get through it in about 7.5 hours! It was a lot of walking and included a lot of picture-taking :-)

I ended up with about 800+ pictures, and trust me - I had a VERY hard time choosing, since I loved many of them.
There are funny ones (think Meerkats), lazy ones (baby Panda in tree), carefree ones (floating Pygmy hippos) and many beautiful ones (tigers, giraffes etc).

But it was this elephant's eye that I liked the best, at least for the moment :-)
They are beautiful animals. I just wish I could have seen it in the wild rather than in the zoo :-(
