I'll be brief, I spoke about this artist somewhere else today already. This new release of his is pretty incredible. Possibly not for everyone, but when you get it, you really get it. Immense.

Movie was the previously-mentioned Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and I can happily report on its excellence. Proper grown-up filmmaking for grown-ups. It didn't put a foot wrong.
