Blowing a Hooley

I have commuted this route on more than a thousand occasions (road to left of river in the mid-field of photo) over the last decade or so but have never seen from this perspective.
Managed to persuade youngest daughter of HTD to climb the 1,600ft or so to the top after getting away sharp from work (early 7am start!) - got to top at sunset - daughter and youngest pup (Molly) barely able to stand in the wind - more chunky 9 year old spaniel was unmoved by the elements! Got down, with head-torches in hand, just before dark. Forecast for snow on the tops tonight so must take skis next time!
