So, this morning we spent our customary few hours on the roof, before heading off to the beach again. Funny how when you're on holiday all the days seem much like the last...

Anyway, we've seen a few of these birds over the week, but not as close as they flew today. There were 5 of them playing in the thermals over the town, and a few times they cruised within about 40 feet of us on the roof terrace. From a quick google, I think they're Spanish Imperial Eagles, though I'm happy to be corrected on that - raptors aren't my speciality.
