If I've told the children in my class once, I've told them a million times ... please, please, please do not bring your pets into school.

School Policy says 'no pets' and I'm glad of it (particularly after a nasty incident with a ferret and my finger when I taught in a small rural school some years ago!)

Imagine my surprise when little Ellie arrived at the door of my first floor classroom with Eyore, her pet donkey ...
