Canterbury helped me to blip this battalion of tiny fairy cakes tonight for my friends' daughter's birthday tomorrow. She's going to be six. I'm helping out at 'Clip 'n' Cimb' for the party. I thought I'd make her some cakes as a surprise.

Canterbury offered to pose for a photo of him licking the spoon and you can thank him for the 'joke' too. I'd never heard it before.

We had such a laugh shooting this. I couldn't stop giggling so typically a lot of the shots were out of focus. He was licking the spoon, making faces and holding the reflector. I just had to press the remote button and point the camera in his direction. So much fun. I'd lost sight of the fun you can have with a camera with things being so hectic of late.

It's Canterbury's birthday on Tuesday. I guess I'll have to think of a cake to make him too. Any suggestions?
