Nature's Fireworks

The city today bombarded us with all sorts of weather ... glorious sunshine, gale force winds, torrential rain ... not forgetting the odd rainbow.

As someone tweeted earlier, "Today's weather ... has been brought to you by dementors."

So, indoors I turned to some macro photography for a change and there's no better subject imo than the humble cactus. Having survived the close-up cuts 'n' bruises the visual secrets of this little beauty are revealed for all to see.
