Vision

First used an 'Apple Macintosh' to make a poster a school, typed my University thesis on a Powerbook back in 1996, bought the original iMac and downloaded (illegally) my first mp3 track, purchased my first (of many) iPods in New York in 2004, have bought, used and loved umpteen products since, and aptly this morning heard about Steve Job's passing whilst listening to the radio through an app on my iPhone before typing this out on my Macbook Pro.

I didn't worship or idolise him, I could have lived without any of these products, but that they have each had their own little role in the last few decades of my life is testament to the man. All beautifully designed and, crucially, they worked.

Even more sad is that yet again someone young - only 56 years old - succumbs to cancer. Frightening.

Cheers Steve.
