Killer Pheasant

Today Mr Pheasant killed Field Mouse. It is my opinion that he didn't mean to kill him, it was simply a game to him that went wrong.

When questioned Mr Pheasant stated that he was with Mrs Pheasant, but when this was proven to be untrue he simply said "I didn't kill, I wasn't there, I'm innocent".

Despite these inconsistencies tonight Mr Pheasant walks free. He was quoted as saying "Thank-you to everyone who has believed in me, who has defended me and spent enormous sums to ensure my freedom - I am truly sorry that I have lost my best friend Field Mouse, my thoughts go out to his family".
