Lost the Groove

This is attempt number 2 at buying a digital radio. Yesterday's was broken. Today's is broken. What is it with these things?? I bought my Dad a digital radio earlier in the year, and after 3 attempts I got one that worked. Do they make them out of old toilet rolls and spit or what?!
