Hectic day at work not helped by having had one too many glasses of wine with a friend last night. Daftie. Luckily I had some stick-to-your-ribs soup with me for my lunch which I'd decanted from the soup pot yonder.

Surprised myself by going for a run when I got home - am sure my sweat was 40% proof - and was then further surprised that the spag bol from the freezer was in fact shepherd's pie mince. Labels on frozen mince items? Don't be ridiculous. Anyway, some neglected new potatoes came to the rescue and all in all ,it was a tasty supper.

Off the booze this evening, funny that.
