Special Day

Its my birthday, its my birthday !!!!

Tonight run was one of the hardest of the year for me, such as the company I was with.
Instead of a hard training night it felt like a rock hard race.
By the time we reached Blencathra for the first time I had the honour of sweeper.
Down to the tarn and up Bannerdale and my legs returned.... in time to climb Blencathra again.
Wet , windy, couldn't see your hand in front of your face on the tops, but a fantastic 90 minutes with fantastic folk..... and scamp.
