Bee Home

When you need to get better and get a Blip. I found a dozen bee hives under the bridge over the road. The hives are plastic, mainly blue with an orange base and look quite funky. The bees seem to love them. Next time I'm round there I will try to read the sign about who put them there beside a railway track, in part of the Carlsberg grounds. Something about City Bees and City Honey.

This is not cropped at all, I just used the spot-focus & lock method on the static flower and then blasted away at 10 frames a second and hoped I got something. Out of 500 frames (which took next to no time to take) I think there were 5 that were half decent and this was by far the best. Having such poor light (it was raining) did not help my cause - I will definitely be back on a sunny day when I can use 100 ISO and a higher shutter speed.
