Porthminster Hotel

Just managed to get back from my afternoon walk before the heavens opened; it's now raining very heavily, though it was quite nice when I was playing on Porthminster Beach.

In the background you can see the Porthminster Hotel, except they're calling themselves the 'Harbour Hotel' now. For some unknown reason they haven't actually changed the signage on the hotel?! .......................But just look what they're building in their grounds - a huge monstrosity with a multi-storey carpark behind. How they ever got planning permission for this we'll never know.

However, it shouldn't affect my walks ..................... unless they start building on the beach??!!
